BRENTWOOD HALF MARATHON
AND FUN RUN
Sunday 9 March
Over the last four years we have raised £12,000 towards the rebuilding of our parish hall through parishioners participating and being sponsored in the Brentwood Half Marathon and Fun Run.
This year we hope to have a team of 50 people running for the Cathedral
in
both the Fun Run – only 3 miles – and Half Marathon – 13
miles – with Father Bill (yes, that’s not
a mistake!) leading the way in the Fun Run!
Entry form
You will need to complete the official entry
form (press to download) and return
it to the
organisers with the appropriate entry fee. You can also enter online at
www.brentwoodhalf.org
All the details about age limits and
unaccompanied and accompanied children are on the entry form or on the
website.
Sponsorship forms
There is a special form for sponsorship for
people running in the Cathedral Team. We will
keep a supply of forms in the narthex should you need any more.
Our target is £3000 in sponsorship so every little bit helps.
On the day we will be making arrangements for our teams and their families to meet up before and after the event in the small hall of the Parish Hall. We can then all leave together for the start of the events. Refreshments will be available throughout the morning.
The Half Marathon starts at 10am and the
Fun Run at
10.20am.
